  • What kind of buns are those ?

    Calvin 17/10/2022 am7:00
  • Just tried making these tonight and it was a disaster. Dont have a griddle, used a season cast iron. Made the meat balls way too thick and not enough room to smash them flat. Ended up wasting a bunch of money and throwing them away. Not his fault but honestly not thorough in my opinion.
So several tips he doesn't cover or talk about. Make sure you have enough cooking surface to get them really flat and dont make the hamburger balls too big

  • Thank you for helping me understand what I was looking for. I prefer smashed burgers over large ones. I’d rather add the cheese in between than multiple layers on top of a bunch of beef. Those looked good can’t wait to cook mine later

  • When I was in high school there was a small spot in the block near the school that a man and wife
made the best burgers I had ever had for 25 cents….. They always put the buns on the pan with
sauce on them. Ya always got grease on your fingers and the buns were not too big like in most restaurants today. The bun is basically there to hold everything together and get a little bread with the
burger but not a whole loaf etc.

    Wes Langley 17/10/2022 am7:00
  • Awesome burger… I learned a lot and thanks for that…..

    Wes Langley 17/10/2022 am7:00

  • Just made them use the sauce to cook with on the hamburger patties but don't put on actual bun. Strong raw onion flavor and I followed to a t if you love raw onion put on bun as well.
