  • I'm British but I dislike crumpets so much, I don't know what it is about them but I really don't understand the hype. Tiger bread however is one of my faves! The flavour is so unique, it's the only bread crust I actually enjoy eating more than the inside

  • Also, as a Polish person, obwarzanek is not the precursor to bagels. You can actually eat bagels, while with Obwarzanek, you have to bite off a little piece, keep it in your mouth for a bit, and wait till it's soft enough to actually eat it-

  • First time to learn that Germany is known for her BAGELS! (I’ve always thought they are American 😭) Although I’ve never seen Germans buy, sell, or eat bagels in Germany😂😂😂 (I’ve lived in Germany with German flatmates for 5 years 😉)

Wait a minute. Why is Sourdough American??? I’m confused…😳

  • I’m Iranian and I remember going to the bakery at corner of my grandma’s block to get Sangak for her when I was a kid. I always loved grabbing the bread and taking it to the rack section where everybody was the pick out the smooth, hot rocks. The rocks were always on the bakery ground until they swept them up near the end of the day.

  • I'm from Poland and would like to put some comments related to mentions (lack of mention) of my country in this video
    – Korovai in Poland? Never heard
    – Bagel – Obwarzanek – only in Kraków, on every street, kinda tourist attraction, I heard that vendors will ofter take trains and go west to Katowice, Wrocław and even cross border to Germany, anywhere else non existing
    – Sour dough – this is what we have in every village
Bonus about Netherland bread(or sht they call a bread: Tiger bread is now available only in industrial form (called white bread is US I guess) – that spongy tasteless sht what shouldn't even be called a bread
